About Yves Delorme
A history, a heritage
OVER 160 YEARS OF TRADITION
In 1845, Ernestine Fremaux and her husband founded a linen weaving company near Lille, in the very heart of the French textile industry. Sixty years after the invention of the mechanical loom, it was the real beginning of the industrialisation of textile.
In 1867, a fire destroyed the premises but with the help of her nephew, Paul Fremaux, who had joined the company, Mme Fremaux started rebuilding. Business grew in the following decades and a second company was created, to weave cotton.
THE THEMES OF THE COLLECTION
Yves Delorme offers the widest home linen collection in the world, as much for its style as its quality. The collection is based on four main themes:
A composition of luminous harmonies with fresh and delicate tones. Pastel shades associated with oral and geometric motifs, this theme illustrates romanticism à la française. The identity of the Yves Delorme brand is unmistakably linked to this theme which was at the origin of the brand.
An authentic universe of pure quality in which the talent and the mastery of a great house are equally expressed. The designs from this theme represent the epitome of quality.
A subtle fusion of inspirations from near and far, this range is an invitation to sensual pleasure. Created from original themes and erudite references this is a world where spiritual pleasures are added to the sensual feel of the fabric.
Made in France until today, Yves Delorme bed linens are manufactured in natural fabrics in the purest tradition and know-how. Each collection is observed to maintain high standards of quality and attention to the slightest detail. Finishing touches make Yves Delorme bed linens stand out: princely fabrics, traditional finishing, and hand-made embroideries.
